Pre-festival Events

While we wait for the main annual festival (19-28 March), YLF is serving up some New Year treats.

Firstly, on Friday 31 January we welcome Sophie Hannah – ‘The Queen of Psychological Crime’ (Sunday Express). Join her as she discusses her latest offering, Haven’t They Grown.  A must for all crime buffs! To book tickets, click here.

And on Saturday 1 February, fresh from his recent appearance on the BBC Breakfast Sofa, it’s the turn of Matthew Todd, author of Pride : From Stonewall to the Present, the story of the LGBTQ equality movement. As part of our Arts Council funded diversity programme for 2020, this special event headlines the opening day of York LGBTQ History Month so we’re expecting it to be particular popular. Early booking is recommended. You can do so by clicking here.

Announcements regarding our main March programme will follow soon. Stay tuned!
